Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards
On 1 June, we had the privilege of attending the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards ceremony, organised by the University of Cambridge and the Dickens Institute to celebrate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance.
Accompanied by their families, teachers, and school leaders, and in the presence of the British Ambassador, Mr Mal Green, we celebrated the remarkable achievement of Josefina Zangaro, who received the awards for Top in the World in English as a Second Language and High Achievement in ICT. The Top in the World award acknowledges students who achieve the highest mark worldwide in a Cambridge examination, making it a truly outstanding accomplishment.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity to recognise Eugenia Monteiro, Mila Preston, Maite Van der Maesen, and Miguel Payssé, who achieved the highest marks in Uruguay in the 2025 Cambridge Checkpoint assessment for English as a First Language.
We are immensely proud of these achievements, which reflect the dedication, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence that our students demonstrate every day, supported and encouraged by their teachers.
